How to upgrade firmware? What kind of software do I need?

I bought a DSO210 for regular purpose. I know little about how to reinstall the system. Would you guys please shed some light?

There no need any software to reinstall the system for the new version device, please perform following steps:
1. Simultaneously press “-” key and turn on power supply, enter DFU firmware upgrade mode;
2. Use USB data cable to connect DS201 to your PC, and a removable disk named DFU V3_11_A will appear on your PC. Copy the hex firmware to the root directory of  that  disk;
3. After the extension of the firmware changes from “hex” to “rdy”, restart DS20;
thus the firmware is upgraded.

How about the old version device? How to upgrade?

You need install dfuse_demo on your PC before you upgrade your old version device.
And, old version all in *.dfu format, please refer to the old forum for more details.
