Cannot update firmware on MHP50

  I have just purchased the MHP50 on Amazon, and tried to download the latest firmware. I downloaded the files from the download page. As mentioned I copied across the MHP50APPxxx.hex file across first, it restarted, but never came up .rdy. It changed to .err. I have sent it back to get another one, and the next one simply done the same. I downlaoded the files a couple of times in case of issues, but was the same. I have also sent this one back, and ordered another. Can anyone tell me what the issue is?

What operating system are you using? Can you try WIN7 and WIN10?
It is recommended to turn off the firewall and anti-virus software, and use the USB port directly from the computer motherboard.
If the ERR file still appears, it may be a compatibility issue with the WINDWOWS driver. Please try other computer.

I am using Windows 10 Pro.  I use the USB/Serial on other peripherals , and works no problem. I restarted everything and still the same. After copying the file, resets and the file MHP50APPxxx.hex changes to MHP50APPxxx.err
