DS213 unusable after update to 2.14

Thanks for solving the trigger bug, but the new software bricked my DS213.
I followed the steps in the readme:
1. Copy FGPA_CFG.ADR to the DFU disk. The DFU disk restarts and shows FGPA_ADR.SET
2. Copy STMU_213_018.bin to the DFU disk. The DFU disk restarts and shows STMU_213_018.rdy
3. Copy DS213AppV1.24.hex to the DFU disk. The DFU disk restarts and shows DS213AppV1.24.err
Now when I restart the device it shows
   FGPA Configuration err!
   Please load the FGPA Data.
Whatever I try, this error is returning.
Even restoring V1.22 does not solve this problem.
What can I do to get the device working again?

There is full backup of 1.20 on github but you need 5$ device to flash it

Can you change a computer to flash?
Better in WIN7.

Nah, this is not that case, it issue about broken fpga.

The other case, Same probrom, USE win7 to upgrade, Can fix it.

Hi, minidso, I like your products, have multiple of them, but this one really needed a fw update so I did try and I have the same problem (got broken when flashing through Mac OS, via Android it would complete ignore the uploads). I tried then flashing on Win7 and Win10, but the the last 3rd step - uploading the hex file always fails with err, please help.
As last resource, is the HW flashing documented somewhere?
I even have corrupted splash logo, when I tried to upload one of the files multiple times.

Hi, minidso, I have the same issue, steps are the same but got "FPGA Configuration Err!"
Used the same steps on the MacOS, Win10 and Linux, result is one.

So the question is what to do next? How to restore the device?

In the end, after many months, I gave it another try after persistent recommendations to try another computer (and especially motivated after bricking the fine MDP-P905 the same way), and I have finally recovered from the FGPA configuration error by performing the upgrade via the macOS Catalina 10.15.7, I went through the 1.24 with FPGA, then updated only the app to 1.27. I have observed too that it does not work every time.

To give you the full story, I even ordered the ST-Link programmer like advised in previous post, but after disassembling I found that this DS213 unit does not have any programming pins exposed like does the DS203... so if you don't have to change the FPGA rather skip it and upload only app hex.
