Firmware Update Failed - P905 Unit Inoperable

After connecting the P905 unit to my Windows computer in DFU mode, I copied MDP_P905.hex to the "DFI V3_64_D" drive. However, when the copy reaches 50%, the P905 disconnects from my computer and I get the error:



After doing this, my unit no longer functions. When I plug in the normal power input, the display does not turn on.

How can I restore functionality to my unit?

Can you get in the DFU mode now?

I have the same problem; when I drop the MDP_P905.hex file onto the DFU drive, it reboots and returns MDP_P905.err.  Now the P905 won't boot anymore; it immediately enters DFU mode on power-up (even when not holding the set button).

Is there anything I can try?

Please try upgrade by bin file:

DFU V3.64D here. The first time I tried MDP_ADR.ADR was ignored, and after dropping MDP_P905.bin it became MDP_P905.not, and the .ADR MDP_ADDR.ERR.

then I sent an email to support and tried again. MDP_ADR.ADR (0x08008000) became .SET (0x08008000), and then MDP_P905.bin became MDP_P905.rdy. Unplugged from the computer, plugged to the USB supply, press run.... and DFU! replugged to the computer, dropped the .bin and MDP_P905.not again.

so there is something going wrong when copying the files from linux. doing it from windows (10) worked fine.
