defective power unit

I received my power supply yesterday. unfortunately the power unit does not seem to work. When I connect it to a USB-C cable or using the power port it refuses to power up. I also tried to get access via usb to upload new firmware but again no succes. The display control unit does power up normally.
Any suggestions what could be the cause?

What power supply you input?
In the video is a 9V batter?
Can you try other power supply?
