Hello, I recently received my DS212 and it seems I was unlucky.
It did not charge or run on battery.
Sending the device back to the seller would have been almost as expensive as the device itself.
So I decided to attempt to repair it myself:
- One of the battery terminals was loose and not welded to the battery protection board, I had to solder it on.
- BOTH probes are defective, one has no continuity on the center/plus lead and the other has a slack joint. Luckily I had an MCX to BNC adapter to test with a working probe.
- Channel B isn't able to display a clean signal, looks like the MCX connector is bad ...
Could you guys somehow help me out?
