ES121 shutting off randomly

I received my new ES121 today. The battery was completely dead when I got it. Now when driving and tightening a half dozen screws or so on any setting it just quits working. Pressing the button does nothing. I can get it to work again if I plug the USB power in. Going to contact seller to exchange it or get a refund. I wonder if all ES121 have the same problem or is it just a random thing.

There is a fix for the ES121 shutting off randomly. Download the firmware update from this site and update the ES121. It also adds another power setting labeled "P". I believe that's a higher torque setting. Also the order of the power settings has changed, "P" for the highest torque down to "1" for the lowest torque. Before "1" was the highest and "4" was the lowest.

Same here. A brand new es121. Got it yesterday.

I send to service@minidso.com also a mail. But no response till yet. How long take you response/help?
