We are using the "dangling" corded electric screwdriver for production where I work.
These are very expensive, and lately have begun to break down and damage the screws.
I showed them your DS120, and they liked it a lot (except too slow, but you're making a newer, faster one).
However, they said it is company policy to require torque certification on all electric screwdrivers.
Maybe you could include a torque calibration adjustment through another menu, different from the standard one?
You could require a special code to enter calibration mode, and then all we would have to do is adjust each torque setting plus or minus until within spec.
We could buy a torque calibration unit that shows precision torque, and adjust each tool ourselves every 1-3 months.
This would help a lot to get your driver into the company I work for. |
