Assume I am a complete novice (I am). How to identify the hex file to to transfer to the ds212? The last page of the manual doesn't say which hex file to use.
i.e. "Copy the hex firmware to the root directory of that disk" isn't very clear. Thanks.

Jiǎshè wǒ shì yīgè wánzhěng de xīnshǒu (wǒ). Rúhé shìbié yào chuánshū dào ds212 de hex wénjiàn? Běn shǒucè de zuìhòu yī yè wèi shuōmíng yào shǐyòng de hex wénjiàn.
Jí “jiāng shíliù jìn zhì gùjiàn fùzhì dào gāi cípán de gēn mùlù” bùshì hěn qīngchǔ. Xièxiè.

DS212 的固件是开源的，你可以自己修改，编译为HEX文件后可以更新至DS212.

Which file do i use to do a firmware update to v1.03?

There are 2 folders and no instructions on which file starts the update after transferring in DFU mode.

I cannot modify the open source. No knowledge in computer programming.

我用哪个文件对v1.03进行固件更新？

Sorry for the late reply. About your question,The firmware of DS212 was already V1.03 when it came out of the factory, so you don't need to update it.
If you feel that the function of V1.03 firmware is not enough for you and you have programming ability, you can try to modify the firmware yourself.
