I just received my TS100 & got straight to assembling it.
I tightened up the screw with the supplied Allen key & it tightened OK & then I just gave it the smallest extra bit to make sure the screw would not come loose. Well the Allen key slipped in the screw, indicating that the Allen key is slightly to small for the screw.
I checked to see if there was any damage to the Allen key & that was OK. I then checked the spare screws & I notice that there is some loose play with the Allen key. The supplied Allen key is 1.44mm across the flat & 1.6mm across the corners. I wonder what the screw is?
Apart from that, the iron passed my tests of what a good iron should do and I reckon that it is a as good as my $800 JBC, which unfortunately can not be repaired because it is obsolete but they won't provide a circuit. Good one with the fully documented TS100
