Can you describe more precisely the scenario that is causing the problem? Does it appear in AUTO mode?
I think this is not really a bug: panning on the trace is meaningfull when the acquisition is stopped.
I don't think that any DSO could show a trace in real time far from the trigger point..
In my opinion, in 'RUN' mode:
- The view position should set to 0 (most left position).
- The panning function should be disabled.
I have tried to copy the .hex to the DS213 by holding pause and turning on the device. After copying the .hex to the root directory, It replace the .hex with a .ERR file. Is this an FPGA hex file? If so, can you provide the procedure to upload this to the DS213? Do I need to upload two different .hex files in two different ways?

You didnt get, it is not in pause, all bugs I were telling about is in moment of measurement, you just measuring signal and right at this moment change xpos and signal get distortion and freezes.

Ну я не согласен, а если отладка устройства идет? Каждый раз паузить и скроллить?а если пик искомого искажения не кратный несущей? Так вообще тяжко, я хз, то что он предлагает это какой-то регистратор чтоли.

@caykroyd, I had the same problem on my windows 7 pc but when I tried it on a windows 10 pc it worke ...
There is one solution, same thing happened when I extracted his file with standart winzip, .err it is how device shows about error, I guess, just extract .hex file with 7zip and youll get .rdy wich I think means all is ok!
