Maybe the firmware was not updated successfully. After downloading the firmware file, unzip it to the computer hard disk. Don't open the compressed file and copy it.

I tried on two different computers - both Macs - and I get same result each time. Updaing the firmware on my ES121 works just fine.

I don't have a video, but there's nothing to show.

I unzipped the file to extract DT71APP108.hex and then copied DT71APP108.hex to the FT71 using the terminal. (If I use drag-drop, the file becomes DT71AP~1.ERR so I use the terminal, which seems to work.)

Then, the drive is unmounted and remounts seconds later. The file becomes DT71AP~1.RDY. Then I unplug and plug it back in.

When connected to USB, display reads DFU:V3.52 5.246V
When connected to test arms, display reads DT71 V1.05

I also tried using a Raspberry Pi to copy the file, but the flash drive doesn't seem to be mountable on rpi/linux.

Can you try windows? Win7 and win10.

Need to rename the file "DT71APP108.hex" => "DT71.hex"

Hello, I'm trying to figure how out how to set the default measurement mode.

I need to set it to measure voltage by default.

Can anyone help?
