Basic USB powering on 5V is added for instance, which is a nice fallback when no QC is available.

BTW, I am currently using the following powering solution as an alternative to the QC capable powerbank:

This allows me to use USB-PD as the slim-tip cable requests 20V (this can be used for the TS100), and the DC-DC converters understands QC and a bunch of other fast charging protocols. This way I can also use any regular ThinkPad slim-tip to power both irons.

The normal use-case is to use a USB QC capable powerbank, or a USB QC capable power brick.

Note: the Lenovo USB Type-C powerbrick also supports USB-PD and needs to use an OTG adapter to force it to ignore the missing CC connections for PD.

Be careful when using the following power source: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm ... 0860&_u=nfi09h349c8 This might have not worked well in combination with the alternative firmware, as it broke the soldering iron.

They are being sold by several people/companies on Taobao, but none of them show the markings of the actual IC responsible (they have removed this).

I have a little problem with TS80 ....
Received and tested with LowVoltage problems with the fw 1.06.
Updated with the last official 1.07 which solves the problem of minimum power, but I noticed the continuous flash with temperature set at 400 °. How can you solve?
