When I copy over the Hex file, the screwdriver reboots, and there is a file "ES120-~1.ERR". The firmware does not update.
I have tried 1.7a, 1.8, and 1.10. All do the same thing.

What OS you use? Please try WIN7 and try another usb line.

OK, I think I found it. I tried it under Linux, and got the same error. When I renamed the file to V110.hex before I copied it over, it worked fine. (Finally)

I'm guessing that it's a filename length issue.

The ES120 and ES121 now adjust the torque by controlling the current output.
The firmware is open source and you can modify it yourself.

where can I find the source code of the latest 1.10 firmware? There's only the hex file in the archive, and source code archives in the post is the latest 1.8, but no 1.9 or 1.10 source.
