Hello , my friend buy Solder TS101 (16 January)
And after few days give me solder for test,  Because it seemed to him that there was some problem with the heating time.
I have TS-100 so i can make comparison, and…. There is a problem with reaching full power.

So i make comparison videos with my TS100. (i know i have Custom IronOS but i never had problem with my solder, also on stock firmware.)

1) This video presents
https://youtu.be/orygItfnd48

- Test from Cold to 300C on 12V
- Test from Cold to 300C > Sleep to 150C > Heat to 300C on 15V

2) This video presents
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7noIxF5cXZA

- Comparison on 20V
- Test with USBC Tester (Fnirsi FNB38),  how much power TS101 it draws (Results are approximate)

(below results not on video)
9V - 2.6W
12V - 5.3-6W
15V - 6.5-8W
18V - 10W
20V - 12.5-15W Meybe max 18-20W

3) This video presents
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9SRTWTFQnA

- 1 Test is on Apple 60W charger
- 2 Test is on Green Cell 75W Charger with Orginal solder USBC cable
- 3 Test is also GreenCell charger and USBC cable from SSD, (thick cable)
- 4 Test is also GreenCell charger with FNB38 to trigger 20V PD
- 5 Test is also GreenCell charger with FNB38 to trigger 20V but is connected to DC.

All tests were performed in the above order, question is… Why did each successive test get longer and longer?
The soldering iron was getting hot and delivering less and less power?

4) This video presents
https://youtube.com/shorts/SXjv4skKbPo

It looks like TS101 gives power cyclically, while the TS100 gives full power at first, and only dispenses power after warming up.

It doesn't matter if the soldering iron is powered from the USBC or DC connector.
Also i test on other firmwares 1.08 / 1.11 / 2.00 same problem.
LowPowerMode and PD limit in settings also dont do anything.
On 24V from power supply same problem, a little bit faster but still slower than TS100 on 12V.

TS101 heats up very slowly. This is not normal. The current seen in your USB meter is very low. Can you test the internal resistance of your TS101? If the internal resistance of the soldering iron tip is abnormal, it may cause slow heating.

Yes, this is not normal, the internal resistance of the tip is about 7.5 Ohm.
For the test, I used my tips, which I use with the TS100.  On each of the three tips and the ones from the TS101  there is the same problem..
Also all tips in TS100 heat up very quickly.
I watch many videos about TS101 and no one have this problem.
My friend also contact with aliexpress seller but..... this is answer:

"Factory reply: The customer feels that the heating time
is too long, the video looks fine. This heating speed is
dependent on the power supply, DC and PD power
supply requires different heating time, the manual has
written different power supply needs to warm up the
time is approximately how much, in addition to sleep
time can be adjusted by themselves"

We know that the heating time depends on the voltage.
Also when I hold down the A button on the soldering iron, I get information on the screen:
TipR:7.7
Temp:70  V:5.2V
Solder connected to PD65W Charger..

So for me TS101 have problem with hardware ? meybe some broken electronic parts?
Different versions of the  firmware do not change anything.
Connecting to PD or DC does not change anything either.
So there is only internal damage or a factory defect... i think.

The internal resistance of the soldering iron tip is 7.7 ohms, which is not a normal resistance. Please send an email to service@morningtools.com, and we will help you solve it.

All my tip are ok, and have 7.5 ohms.
In my TS100 in debug menu is 7.5 ohms, In TS101 is 7,7 ohms but it is still ok.
According to ohm's law
12Vx12V : 7,7 ohms = 18,7 Watts.
So is very good. and on my TS100 i have Exactly this power on 12V.

But on TS101 is max 6W with 12V power supply.
So for me problem is on motheboard, to delivery full power.

while heating on TIP connector is only 5V with 12V power supply ;)

By the way i wrote on this email also.

7.5 ohm is not a normal internal resistance of TS100/TS101 soldering iron tip, is your soldering iron tip the original MINIWARE version? Is there any LOGO on the soldering iron tip? The quality control of the third-party soldering iron tip is very poor. Please use the original soldering iron tip.

This is foto my tip
https://ibb.co/VBPGsFZ

And my TS100 in debug mode to see resistance (on multimeter same value, so is correct)
https://ibb.co/JcQjN76

When i buy my TS-100 (from official aliexpress link) i get tip TS-BC2 (7.5ohms) , after a half of year i buy TS-I in my country (also 7.5 ohms).
With TS-101 (also from official aliexpress link on miniware website) i get tip TS-I (also 7.5ohms)

So what is "orginal" resistance? ;)

All tips have logo miniware.
All tips works excellent in my TS-100. But also all tips don't work correctly with TS-101 (Because the motherboard is not supplying enough power to the soldering tip)

Heating time in the TS-100 on all tips is exactly as in the table
https://ibb.co/2PmKq5m

Also, in accordance with ohm's law and the voltage with which I power the soldering iron, it receives the correct power on all tips in the TS-100, so 7.5ohms is OK.
There is no reason to say that the tips are bad or damaged or not orginal.
If the resistance of the tips was too high, the heating time of the TS-100 would be incorrect, but it is not.

Somewhere on the internet I found a table describing the resistance of different types of soldering tips such as TS, T12 and others. But I can't find it now.

For me TS-101 is broken, and does not provide full voltage to the tip.
I'm trying to describe the problem as accurately as I can, because I haven't found anyone on the internet who has had this problem.
