Hello,

I am wondering if my device does not work or if I am doing something wrong:
I measure e.g. a capacitor charge/discharge.
I set the DSO203 to single sync mode, sampling time 100ms, channel A only.
I set the trigger point T0 to the left of the display. The memory depth is 4K.
After pressing the run button and running a charge/discharge cycle, I can see the voltage measured over the capacity (both charge and discharge) nicely.

I then set the sampling time to 10ms. All other parameters stay the same.
I can see the initial part of the curve (initial charge). I assume the remaining is in the non visible part of the memory buffer.

However, I thought I would use the "X" control to scroll through the memory buffer. In fact doing so, I see the tiny rectangle scroll to the right on the top right of the display. However, the main display does not update at all and stays the same all time.

What is going wrong?
HW 2.70
SYS Ver 1.52
APP (PLUS A1) V1.07

and one more question: I can set the trigger point on the time axis only to 2 points, about 25% from left and about 75% from left, but not to the center of the display. Is that correct?

Tank you for any help!

When you set up 10 ms, see only the charging part, that's because the capacitor charge and discharge cycles than 10 ms, you can use 100 ms to see first discharge cycle.

You use single sync mode, in the cache can't change, you can change the time
base of 50 ms, or try the Auto mode.
The trigger point refers to THR T0.

1. Yes indeed, when I set sampling time to 10ms, I see only the charge cycle.
So I would assume that the discharge cycle is in the buffer, however, not visible on screen. So I thought my moving the X value I could scroll horizontally through the buffer. But this does not work.

2. Yes, T0 is the position of the trigger point. So how can I set this to a center position on the screen?

Hi Otto57,
Your version is not the last one, so maybe my advices will not work properly.
I found a lot of bugs especially when you observe discontinuous signals.

How to set the trigger line anywhere:
You may need to adjust following 3 parameters:

Number of samples: you must set 1K or more, below this it will not work well. I use 2K.
T0 : T0 will bring your display area in 3 positions ( leftmost, centre, rightmost). Select centre position normally the trigger position will be on 1st third of the screen.
X : Now move the x position to bring the sync line to the centre. In fact you are moving your window to the left but result is the same.
Hope it will help.
