DS202 Firmware update

Do you place the DS202.V132A and DS202.V132B into the DFU root directory at the same time??
Or do one at a time a.hex first, re-booting the system then copy the B.hex in the DFU ???
What are the steps?

What do you mean by (after the upgrade, need to format a disk) from text above ? What disk do you format? Or do you mean the internal disk will automatically be formatted ??

Every time a copy HEX file after entering DFU , DFU will restart .
Format the storage space , DFU no need to  formatting.

Hi.
I've DSO202 model with v1.28 firmware.
How can I update to v1.32 ? There are two files : DS202.A132.hex and DS202.B132.hex
I understood that:
- Enter DFU mode (4 sec power switch)
- Copy first file DS202.A132.hex from PC to DSO unit
- Reboot
- Enter DFU mode again (4 sec power switch)
- Copy second file DS202.B132.hex from PC to DSO
- Reboot again
Is it?
What means when you say "press the pause button"?:
DS202. A132. Hex - > APP1 (the default boot)
DS202. B132. Hex - > APP2 (press the pause button)

Hello !
I have problem upgrading my DS202 V3-42DV1.32 APP1 hardware V2.22 to to vV1.37 version.
After copying DS202.A137.hex to DFU, I get DS202.A137~error.

Can U help ?

What's your PC system? If it's winXP, try switching to Windows 7.
To make sure that your firmware is downloaded from the website, you can try the firmware's name with a length of less than 8, eg: DS202. Hex.
There is no problem to upgrade normally, I hope I can help you.

My system is Version Linux Mint 18 Sarah 64-bit, Noyau Linux 4.4.0-101-generic x86_64, desktop MATE 1.14.
I've downladed the firmware from http://www.minidso.com/forum.php ... 2Bfirmware%2Bupdate

Does not work changing the name in DS202.hex ; i get DS202~ERR
I did succed to upgrade to the actual version when i received my DS202 two years ago but as i am 65 years old and i don't remember how i did it ....
Do i have to ger rid of the Sytem Volum Information folder before ?

There are many versions of Linux, and there may be a small number of versions that do not support DFU mode, but win7,win10, and MAC are all supported.If you can, upgrade the firmware on the above system.

I already upgrade my DS202 to 1.32. So my version of Linux does not seems to be the problem.
II will try to find a windows computer and let you know.

It works with window 7. It's a Linux Mint comptability problem.
