voltage drop >1V increment

When using the MDP-M01 to decrease the voltage of a MDP-906 with increments of 1V or larger, is see the voltage drop significantly lower than the setpoint. After a short time (<0.5s) it recovers to the desired voltage. What could be the cause of this?
This happend when the load was a 24V fan and with a pure resistive load. The firmware of both devices are the latest available

From the phenomenon you reported, it seems that the anti-backflow protection has been triggered. The set voltage is suddenly lower than the current voltage, and the capacitor voltage will not be turned on again until it drops below the set voltage. The inertia of the fan may prolong this process.

Thanks for the reply. I suspect that this is indeed the issue. Although it also happens with a normal resistor. So could it be the anti-back flow protection is set to aggresive?
