DS213 8mb storage. Cannot access or format after I corrupted the memory

Hello,



I've done something silly. I downloaded firmware, and uploaded it to my oscilloscope without verifying the data integrity.


For the FPGA memory address, I uploaded a html (hyper text markup language) file instead. This obviously would lead to the data being uploaded to a 'random' address. The binary file was also a html file


At first, the glitch was saving to csv format would instead save a copy of the html file that I had uploaded to the device memory somewhere, to an unknown address


The oslloscope still works, but can't save. Even after I press K4 + K3. I cannot format the disk. Windows is unable to complete the format.


I have followed these instructions, and they all succeed, however the device stays in DFU mode without holding K1

I can still change the app software easily, but all versions (1.24, 1.26, 1.27, custom firmware for roll mode and Gabonator firmware), all versions cannot save to the disk. Even after configuration with K4 + K3


Is there anything I can do to restore the 8mb memory? DFU memory is ok and working, but program memory is not

This is a complex problem that needs to be solved by the factory. Would it be convenient for you to mail it back?

Yes, i'd like to be able to mail it back

But I have caused further damage since the software upload. In an effort to look for programming pins, I broke the K4 button and also a circuit board trace that leads to the winbond chip. I can try to repair the k4 button and the PCB trace myself, to save costs. But if possible, I can still mail it back to have the firmware looked at as well. I realise that the winbond memory chip may now require an eeprom clip to access that memory, if the lowest circuit board trace affects the SPI connection. I can send a photo
