Good evening dear miniware developers,
Thank you for implementing the screen brightness setting option!
Would be nice if the following changes would find their way into future firmware updates as well!
Regarding the ES15:
1. I am having an issue with the way the device gets powered on.
Since the run-button protrudes like that, the device will always get powered on if it is carried in a pocket.
It would be much more convenient, if only the set-button was used to power the device on, to prevent it from getting powered on in the pocket and draining the battery.
Additionally to this issue I thought about the battery management option which would be much more convenient to be able to activate using a combination of button presses.
So if the device should be locked / battery management activated, the set button would have to be pressed while the run button is held down, rather than having to enter the settings menu and clicking through all the settings to eventually reach the corresponding entry.
In summary:
Please change the way the ES15 gets powered on and complementary to this how the device gets locked.
In particular:
1.1 To power on the device you would have to press the set button once, then hold it to unlock. Pressing the run button would have no effect as long as the device is locked / in battery management mode.
1.2 To activate battery management / lock the ES15, you would have to press and hold the run button and while holding down the run button, press the set button.
2. The battery icon is not informative enough.
This could be solved by replacing the icon by the actual value in percent, like 50%.
3. The impact functionality is highly appreciated but unfortunately there is a shortcoming regarding the counterclockwise / unscrew direction:
If a screw is to tight to get broken loose the impact function kicks in, but unfortunately stops and the unscrew action needs to be repeated to get the screw finally out.
Please make, only for the counterclockwise / unscrew direction, the screwdriver keep turning if impact is activated.
Meaning if the resistance decreases while unscrewing the impact function should end and the screwdriver should keep unscrewing the screw without impact.
In clockwise direction the actual behavior should be kept as is however.
4. I don't know if it is only me, but the last change (1.07) to the high sensitivity mode is somewhat inconvenient, because at the slightest movement it starts to spin at full speed unproportional to the amount of movement. What is the point of sensitivity here (in high mode) at all than?
5. Maybe an alternative way to toggle impact mode could be implemented as well. Since the ES15 is equipped with a gyro, it would be nice to be able to toggle the impact mode by holding down the set button while shaking the device.
thanks in advance
kind regards
