Please help with USB power for MHP50

I have an MHP50 just purchased new. I have an Anker 727 100W power supply that meets the PD spec, but when I plug the MHP50 it just reboots repeatedly. I put a PD monitor on and it seems the device is not properly asking for the power. Is it defective? Is there a new firmware for it (I don't see any versions of firmware on the website).

This power supply works fine for my USB soldering iron but not for the MHP50 but I think it should work. The device does go into DFU mode when plugged into a computer USB or if I long press/hold the left side button.

Please tell me if this one is broken or new firmware or?

I am using the cable that came with the device. It seems like a nice silicone USBC/USBC cable.

Here you can see a video of what the device does when plugged directly to the charger:

Here you can see, when I attach a power measuring device, the MHP doesn't ask for 20V:

And, if I do the call for 20V myself, using a USBC trigger device, it works fine. The power supply works for triggering and can deliver the required power:

There is a high probability that it is a compatibility issue with ANKER727. Perhaps this charger has changed the PD protocol.
Do you have any other chargers to try? I can't buy ANKER727 charging head in China.

did you find the solution? Did new firmware fix the issue? Does Farsense USB trigger solution work in the mean time?

Sorry, we now believe that it is a PD protocol compatibility issue. The charging head may have modified the protocol. If the charging head supports the standard PD protocol and has not been modified, then MHP50 can support it. We are looking for ways to make it compatible through software upgrades.
