ES 15 standby mode

Es15 in standby mode is to press and hold the run button. I have tried this many times and can not seem to put in standby.
Is there a certain way to get the Es15 into stand by? I carry this in a pouch on my belt and worried it will activate. I tried the battery function to on and found out this drains the battery to 50 percent. Running latest version 1.07. Any help would be appreciated

When the battery-M option is turned on, it will automatically discharge to 50%. This is for the preservation of the battery, and the ES15 does not have a lock function now.
