Some additional thoughts about the already mentioned topics:

4. I'm not sure if anyone ever uses the 'L' setting as it's very inconvenient to have to turn the screwdriver as far to get full speed while having to hold the button down.
    So my suggestion is to replace the current 'L-values' with slightly decreased 'M-values' and replace the current 'M-values' with the old 'H-values', with even higher resolution  (if possible), but absolutely with the same rotation angle!
5. I did not suggest to press two buttons, but to rather perform a combination of holding the 'Set-key' down and shaking the screwdriver, to achieve the toggle action.
