JTAG debugging and programming

Hello!

I've been trying to debug and program the osciloscope using the jtag interface without success.

I've followed the steps shown here:

To debug with OpenOCD and GDB, but I can't load the firmware, it says the device is protected.

I've been using an ST-Link V2 programmer in SWD mode with the following connections:
DSO->STLINK
1 (3v)
2 (tms)->SWDIO (7)
3 (tck) -> SWCLK (9)
4 (tdi) -> N/C
5 (rst) -> RESET (15)
6 (tdo) -> SWO (13)
7 (trst) -> N/C
8 (gnd)




This makes me wonder if there is a way to debug the code using the jtag interface.


Any help would be appreciated!

What is your machine model, DS202, or NANO?

I have the 202, and my final goal is to debug the 202, but I tried first with a nano, just in case I break something I didn't want to break teh 202.

Debug the 202 use ST-Link V2，Connect CN6 GND, VCC, SWD, SWC, DS202 to independent power supply.

Should I use IAR directly?  or openOCD and IAR with GDB server?
