My DSO202 screwed up

I'm using Mac OS X and it hosed my DSO202 following the manual instructions.

I have the firmware dowloaded but evidently need a tool and instructions to actually install it on my DSO 202.

something about dfu-util -a 0 -D your-firmware-file.dfu

Following instructions at macappstore I got dfu-util installed

I tracked down a Windows user and seemed to have recovered the DSO 202.  

Windows has NEVER been a poster child for stability and you have to come to grips with Windows is no longer the big her bull, elephant in the room it once was.   It's time to have a Apple Mac update solution.

Apple is here and it's here to stay in a big way. I see more Macs than Windows PCs everywhere I go. And working for US Military Sealift Command you better bet I go ALLOT, all over the world.

Because the Mac OS updates, so DFU update the firmware may not be stable.Suggest you update the firmware on WINDOWS platform.
